nah.. just fix the problem itself.

sure, and that is perfect, but can you change any of the settings? like turn off this CEL?
Or, what about other adjustments down the road that weren't addressed during the dyno tuning session?

Any state that plugs into the obd-II port, will not pass the vehicle if there is a P1000 code present. This means that the vehicle has not completed a full systems check-out.
