The short block is finished. The long block will be done as soon as Hensler Racing gets the heads back from Fox Lake. I have pics for your pleasure. I am pleased with the work so far. He told me everything would be done the 23rd, so he is less than a week off schedule. Not bad for an engine builder.

Looks good. I was just wondering when you were going to post an update. I am sitting here looking at the toys I have sitting around waiting for me to get busy. Sorry I'm not in you're or Joe's league but not to bad for a newby. I think I could chase you down the road. Won't catch but I could chase ya...:p

ELi did not go with a stroker. He has .020 flat tops.

Looking good Eli. Try to keep the sand out of it. My engines get built up, and then sand grows inside, after which they drop valves of course.......

Impressive pictures of the bottom end and block. Very good looking connecting rods too. Are these connecting rods stock? If they're not, could someone post a link to a picture of what a stock rod looks like?
