Still have the pickled pig feet. They need to 'age' a little longer. The chitlin's were good but next time clean them first OK?

Texan Possum Chili

Ingredients:
Meat from 1 large possum or 2 small
3 onions chopped
1 pound sausage
15 jalapenos
5 tomatoes
2 red peppers chopped
meat from 2-3 squirrels, cut into pieces
meat from 1 armadillo
1 cup tea
1/4 can Copenhagen

Chop up everything set it on the fire (or stove) let it boil until the dogs howl. Eat with regard to the bones and serve with cheese (not green) and more onions. This is actually a recipe my cousins taught me how to cook. It is very edible.

Edible? I'll take your word on that. My favorite ingredient is the 1/4 can Copenhagen.

I bet the 15 jalapeno's are to kill the taste, right? Kind of like putting a lime in a bottle of Corona. :)

Yeah, you can use the lime on the Corona and/or skunk - only difference is one's a tan liquid and the other is a black/white striped solid.

Speaking of nasty beers, ever had a Haake Beck? Oh my GAWD that is HORRID. That's the skunkiest thing ever - even beats Heineken.

The Southern Culture on the Skids (SCOTS) site has recipes for possum, skunk, chipmunk and spam. If you attend a show, they usually pass around banana pudding and chicken while singing a related song. You can check out the site at http://66.70.157.23/index2.htm

Art, they are playing in Raleigh 6/13 - you want to go?

Scott: sounds like fun. That is my birthday also. Only trouble is, I am having extensive dental work done and refuse to go out in public until it is done. As you know, I am ugly enough as it is. I don't need to scare any kids.
