Neil diamond concert

If anyone is a Neil Diamond fan I strongly recommend if you get a chance go see his concert. He has NOT lost it! Over 2 straight hours without a break. At 72+ years this great product of the 60's is better than he ever was!

That's great to hear, Bud. I was exposed to a lot of Neil's music in my younger years. I'm glad to hear he's still got it!

When I was young i went to the meadowlands horse race track with the family, I forget what for but Neil Diamond was playing there. I just remember America. Can't say I am a fan but you can't not have heard any of his music, even if just an instrumental in an elevator. lol

Yes, he has written a lot more music than he has recorded......I'm A Believer by the Monkey's comes to mind...but then Diamond recorded it a few years later himself.

I think he's a great entertainer. He's doing something right to still be around after all these years.

I think he was one of the first to use an ochrestra to back him up singing pop music. I only have about 30 of his albums. Crap, if he's that old, it means I am too.

Glad you got to see him. Wish he'd come down this far south on the current tour. Seen him a few times before. Great show.

One occasion saw him on Friday night, then Nine Inch Nails Saturday night, same venue, almost the same seat. Certainly not the same show!
