i picked up a ivory 98 from a title pawn place. it was to be a parts car but was to nice to part. i replaced the fuel pump and steering column and it runs fine. now i need to fix the airride and it will become the new DD. just thought i would share. Happy new year Y'all:)

I've had 6 mark 7's but this is only my second mark8. i wanted a black one to compliment my white 97 but for $800. i couldnt pass the ivory up.

Looks sharp! I hope those chrome fender flares aren't covering anything up..

no clean paint underneath. they are allready gone. just need to remove the chrome lower molding without screwing up the paint.

Awesome. It sounds like you got a real nice car there.

Given the way the title loan places work around here, I'd say that was grandpa's car that was given to the financially irresponsible teenager who then swapped the title for cash, and lost it. It sounds like they didn't have the car for too long.. :)

thanks. now i'm going to switch this one from my white 97 and add exhaust headers and gears. while this one becomes my dd. i took it out tonight and noticed it shifts much better than my 97. with od off it held 1st and single till redline!
