New Car Cover

Covercraft makes top quality covers, and they should for that price! haha. I have one of their indoor covers and I'm very happy. Nice soft inner lining, and it fits like a glove.

Covercraft has nice quality stuff. I had one for the Mercedes, but it left fuzz balls on the canvas convertible top, and that stressed me out having to lint roll the top all the time.

I eventually went with a OEM Mercedes NOAH material indoor/outdoor cover for that car, and no more fuzz.

The Mark has a OEM Mark VIII indoor/outdoor cover, and after all these years, still works great. :)

What is the difference between OEM made and custom fit from covercraft ?

I was thinking a lincoln emblem would be pretty.:)

The original MK8 ones, have a Lincoln Star on the nose and the bag says Mark VIII - but good luck finding one of those...

I know I've only seen one in my lifetime...and I'm sure Jay(ello) isn't giving it up!!

you lived here how long and I never showed you my original MK8 car cover?

So if Jay has one, that means there are 3 of them that I know of...

Nope, apparently not. I know about Jay's because when I stayed with him at my inaugural LOD meet in St. Louis, he parked on the street, but under the car cover.

Even the camera had called it a night by then!

Yes, it was my first! The only member to meet me while I actually had my old Lincoln was Eric, when I was house-sitting down in his hometown in Westport. I only met YOU for the first time when you picked me up at work to head west. I still have a ton of wicked pix from that weekend, but I don't think I should defile this thread with them! :D

Hey I remember that piano. BTW, there was nothing wrong with the camera. That's how Joe actually looked.

That was also the hotel we watched a Cardinals game while drinking cocktails from the roof.
