Hey ive got a 1998 lsc. Bought it back in February for 1300. Originally I thought the only issues with it were what the owner said with the air ride and alternator, drove it home did some fluid changes and then the trans went out I then spent the next month with the help of some friends and family taking it out and rebuilding it, while under there I could see the car was never really cared for. Improper jack points, fluids never changed and never cleaned. I took care of what I could and today all that's left to be done is mainly small issues and many I have the solutions for. Still figuring out that anti theft and no door data lol. I'll have to upload pics late since my phone won't let me

When non car people get these cars they don't realize that maintenance is a bit more expensive than your standard corolla, then decide it's not worth the up keep.
