Well after 8 years on my old twin 2 bar fluorescent 4 foot lights they finally let out. No matter how many times you jerked the light switch they were spent. So off to Lowe's we go and i pick up these. They are made by Metalux model number SSF296HO4WP. Spend 10.00 extra and get the HO ones. they don't come with the T12 HO bubs, so pick four up when you are there. Holy crap these are bright. there 8 footers so i had to extend my wires out a bit and relocated them a little forward to the front of the garage 4' off the front wall in same position as the two old 4 footers were. Just slid forward. It's like being in the middle of the day at high noon inside your garage. I was going to get three and put the one across workbench. But definitely don't need it now.

The car got to see the light of day today when putting in the lights cause i had to go up the trap door inside attic. She did NOT want to start. haah Shes hurting. I only idled it enough to back out and drive back in. We'll fix that soon enough. But she must give birth here in the garage first. Check these lights out.

Very nice and bright. Now you can see all the crap on the workbench.. Nice wall, fill it with cabinets.

I bought a pair of LED lamp fixtures for one wall. I needed something on the far side since with a car up on the lift and the lift raised, it blocks a lot of the light from the fluorescent fixtures down the middle of the garage.

The LEDs are bright to look at but the lumen output is not what it needs to be but it is better than none.

True, i did see the LEDs at lowes although small selection. They just didn't seem to have the output i was looking for, plus the cost was nearly double. I might be selling this house in near future, so i didnt want to get too crazy with spending money on lights. The house only came with two double bulb four foot sections out there in the garage so twin 8 footers is more than enough for that small space.

haha I know. Im slowly re-listing all my parts to be sold off. I took one roller table bench over to cousins house cause it was in the way here. There 4x4' tables i made out of 2x4s and 4x4s. That one is filled to brim with for sale stuff. I have no need for any 2nd gen parts but have alot of black interior pieces from the black LSC including the rear bumper pan and the entire roller car still sitting out at my property. Somone needs to come save that black 98 LSC for 600.00 cash. Ill give them an entire 2nd gen roof and sunroof to go along with it. Its perfect empty chassis for a race car. Just add a big engine and transmission 4R70W of which i have two available for 350.00 each. Also two 2nd gen doors, 2 1st gen doors, 1st gen drivers 1/4 panel and three hoods including my old stock blue one. 2, gen 1 factory mark 8 front noses and 1 2nd gen LSC front clip. Also two rocker panels from a 2nd gen LSC. Also have two front K member rolling sections. I hate to send that stuff to the scrap yard to be crushed, but they are in the way and i need them gone.
