If they are in good shape, but just crazed, I have had very good luck with 3M's headlight polishing kit. about $22 at your local parts store.

Wow that just broke my heart. No hid anymore :(

I will probably just buy them factory new then. Thank you for the replies.

Good luck trying to find them. They're not available from dealers and the last new set on ebay sold for $1200.

I need new housing yes :) I cant wet sand them either...... they have been breached and are flaking inside 1 worse than the other.

Well good luck... good housings are becoming harder and harder to find... particularly new ones... :(

just make sure you get the HID and not the halogen, unless you want to retrofit an HID kit in the halogen. Lincoln came out with halogen housing to replace the HID when they stopped making the bulb.

Again, I'll guarantee no dealer has new headlight lenses, either HID or halogen. They're gone forever. Tasca also shows they have neon tail lights, but those have been gone for years.

I was referring to AFTERMARKET HID's that do work in the Gen II's. Yes, you need the aftermarket ballasts too but they usually come with the bulbs. You have to cut/splice the wiring. They worked great for me. Usually the auto lamp feature will not function tho....

So they let you just order them on line and then you get nothing :confused:

Yes. Obviously you'll get your money back. Or maybe they don't process your credit card until they check the stock. But either way, you're not gonna get it if they don't have it. That parts database is used by about a dozen dealer sites if not more, and it's years out of date.
