Fortran? Easy to use? Yeah, right. Basic and Pascal are cake compared to Fortran and i bet 2/3 of the people here can't program in Basic.

It's always great looking back at old predictions and developements, especially in the computer arena. I remember when i got the issue of PC Magazine from the mailbox and was excited about the "100 MHZ DX4" headline.

Geez, there goes my credibility. Good catch. I never even thought of checking with Snopes because it looked pretty real to me and we all know how computers have progressed.
