hello there I have owned a Lincoln Mark VI for about a year now and got with 69,000 miles on it and I was wondering if any one had any information on where to get diagnostics for it and also some technical information about it like what to look for or any problems that came along with the car of this year make and model. I also just bout a 96 Lincoln continental I know its not the Mark series but it definitely works as a good winter car with the front wheel drive. Is there any problems that I can look for in this car? thanks for the feed back it is well appreciated...

Welcome again Steven. I see you found our non Mark VIII section for your Mark VI and Continental. Hopefully someone will have some suggestions.

Not bad choices at all, Steven. I've always liked the Mark VI. I came very close to buying an '82 prior to picking up the '86 Town Car that I bought instead. A good buddy of mine had a '96 Continental, too. It was a "dealer's wife" special, Red, with every single option. I actually ended up driving that one quite a few times. The adjustable suspension and steering were neat tricks, and the stock stereo was the best one I'd ever heard at the time. The "projected" instrument cluster was a pretty sweet trick, too. I hope it treats you well.

My parents had an '83 Mark VI that I almost bought from my grandparents for my first car. It was quite a beauty! :)

I always liked the last gen Contis, if they only made an LSC type trim for it with a little lip spoiler on the decklid I think it would look fantastic! The cluster is definitely nicer than the Mark VIII :(
