New Member, Building the Mark VIII

Been wanting one of these cars for a while and finally picked up a base 97. Looking to make it a bit more fun with a 6 speed. I also just came across a set a 05 Aviator heads (the DC casting) along with 98 cobra cams and 01 cobra intake. Looking to make a real nice cruiser, low rpm quiet decent mpg's with some punch added in.

I'm about to get some bodywork done, popping out a dent, painting a door, body color some chrome and installing the gen 2 terminator bumper. I'll get some pictures up once its done should be nice.

Yup. Also there is a post in the fore sale forum or his forum where a customer had passed away after getting the conversion done and the family was selling the car. Not sure if it ever sold, the initial asking price was high, but I know he had paid a lot for the mods.

Congrats for having the directional rims mounted correctly, lol Lots of people post pics here and the rims are all different ways.

Haha they were mounted incorrectly when I bought the car and after I got tires at the shop. You notice that there wrong once you see a car with them on correctly.
