I was sorry to see Studebaker go out of business.... they went to Canada, but didn't last there either...can you imagine what they'd have today??

Would be cool to see some concepts of what Studebaker would look like today.
I think they would have followed a more compact car design today. Would like to see
a luxury line instead but I think they would have followed the common market more.
They still have a big building and office in South Bend Indiana where they sell original manufactured parts. Lots of parts still left but the building is falling a part (I heard the city was going to pitch in to revive it though. Not sure if they did or not. That was about 8 years ago.) Sorry, to pull the thread off topic!
Hey, great Lincoln pictures too!! ;) There, back on target!

Beautiful cars! Thanks for the photos!

I'd love to see that 49 at Carlisle, they never have any older Lincolns there.:frown:

Here's a shot of my Studebaker, I plan on restoring it someday.:D

I found someone selling those on Etsy lately also. I very nearly bought a 93-ish T-Bird "rustbuket" from him. it was about the coolest thing I'd ever seen.

Yes, I bought that model years ago, it was in a catalog I got in the mail, I had to have it.:D

I saw one in a nice car collection, these cars were just amazing. I was asked not to post photos on the internet, but I think I'm ok showing the supercharger.:)

That supercharger would be the one shown on the model, it's a McCulloch Paxton used by
Studebaker and Packard in 1957/58.Some very rare 1957 fords and T birds also offered
this unit.
