Hi, my name is Mark, I am from Clear Spring, Maryland. I am new to Lincoln ownership. My car is a 1994 Mark VIII that was purchased new by my father as a gift to my mother. 7 years ago she died and he sold to car. I recently found out it was for sale and a relatives of mine was going to buy it to swap the motor into a mustang he said unless I wanted it. Well I just couldn't let that happen to Mom's car so here I am, the new owner of my Mom's old Lincoln. Plan to do a few upgrades to it, not much for starters. Hub swap, nice wheels, ect. The air ride was replaced with a coil spring set up while my mom was still driving it. Has 141,000 miles and only issue it seems to have besides needing a fresh coat of paint is that the rear window leaks.

Welcome, Mark!

It sounds like you've got yourself a nice car there. I always appreciate the stories about the car that "came home." Particularly when they've been well cared for in the interim. Enjoy that new ride!

No, it is actually leaking around the rear window weatherstrip. Which is like most of them all warped. May have to have the window removed and resealed. By the way, it looks just like your deep jewel green one.
