New MK VIII LSC in Bavaria / Germany

Dear all,

what to give a short introduction of myself and my "new" LSC. It's a 1998 in "Evergreen". Has about 61,000 mls and is in quite good condition, no rust, but got a paint job many years ago. Interior is looking good, no parts missing.
I started some smaller repair this week, like the mandatory blender door actuator repair  , some cosmetic things, and investigation on the neon tail light. Apart from this, it's running perfect (tires have to be balanced), quiet and comfortable.
I've already had several American cars, starting with a 1992 Ford Probe GT (turbo), 1997 Ford Mustang GT in "autumnorange", 1999 Cadillac Seville STS, 2006 Ford Mustang GT, 2006 Ford F-150, 2008 Chrysler C 300 Hemi, 2001 PT Cruiser, 2008 Jeep Commander and now the Mark VIII. This car was a dream of mine since it's launch in 1997. Now, finally, I have one and I love it.
The plan is to keep this car as long as it is some how possible, I think it has the potential to become a very rare collectors car and "old timer" in some years, especially here in Europe.

I'm looking forward for a nice time with the car and here in the forum.

best regards

WOW !! She is in excellent condition and very low miles, what a great find ! Did you find it in Germany? Or did you have it brought over? Have fun with the blend door and the rear neon tail light, its probably easier to convert it over to LED than it is to find a working ballast (or have a 2-step 12v dc ballast made :/ ) - If she was mine , first thing to cut off the mufflers (until a more extensive system can be installed) - install some subwoofers, window tint, and slap an emblem on the hood ! What a very nice car, great find, wish I could bring mine to Germany and show off !!

Greetings, Anze! and Welcome!

Congratulations on your new purchase! You've found yourself a very nice car. One of my favorite colors, and in LSC trim to boot. Very nice!

One observation, is that if yours is truly a 1998, you most likely have the "Medium Charcoal Green" (Paint Code PZ,) As "Evergreen" was a 1997 color.

Edit: Looks like Last Mrk beat me to the punch. :D Anyway, Welcome!!
