New Ride - A good reason to stop by and say hi!

Well I finally broke down and picked up a new ride today. I had been looking at a used 2013 Taurus Limited, but with the new financing deals a new 2013 Taurus Limited was the same price. Did I miss anything exciting at Carlisle this year? Joe and I were actually in Des Moines getting married!

Congrats! Beautiful car! They did a great job with the mid cycle refresh of the new Taurus.

Congratulations on the marriage, and the new ride! If you'd waited a little longer, you could have done that up here in Minnesota, too. (yeah, yeah. Iowa is closer, but still, I'm pleased to see this stuff happening)

Thanks for the update, too. How are the kids? Do you no longer have the Cougar?

I actually sold the Cougar last April when my Grandpa's 88 F-150 came up for sale. I remember playing in that truck when it was new, so I had to pick it up (which you can see behind the Taurus). We traded in the 2008 Taurus X on the 2013 Taurus. Joe still drives the 01 Sable we got when the Town Car got totalled.

As for the boys, the picture below pretty much sums it up.

Ha! Dad drives an old F-150, and meanwhile, the boys get the Raptor..

The sad thing is that Raptor cost almost as much as I paid for the truck!
