Hello guys. I just picked up my 97 mk8 today toreador red, 132k, and has all the service records! It needs a little work like the blend door and the neon housing, and try to get the imrc unstuck. Other than that, it's perfect!

Newbie here, too. In search of an engine. My dads car originally. '97 Mark VIII LSC. He's got Parkinsons and really want to finish it before anything happens to him. He's done most of the mods through the years. Regular Engine Bolt On's. Shift kit which was a great improvement. SCT tuner, surprisingly useful. I just finished rebuilding entire suspension. Coil overs and all. 1 1/2" lowered. Handles and rides much better than I expected. Eibach system. Then the bottom radiator hose blew and now he's not allowed to drive anymore. Kills him, which kills me. So if anyone has any ideas for a broke kid to find an engine, I'd love to give him a ride and the satisfaction of knowing his cars now in good hands. Thanks, Mark.
