Hi
I have a'95 LSC, I was in China when my wife has some problems: the car did not want to restart in a car park. She called insurances's assistance: a guy came, put I suppose start pilot in the air duct and engine restarted, she came back directly at home without problem (25 miles)

I tried to start when I came back, impossible. I exchanged spark plugs and coils because I have without result, wires has been changed some months ago. I tested on an old spark plug connected to a wire and solidly grounded to engine: no spark.

So who has an idea? I checkes fuses going to ICM, good.

Try moving around the crankshaft positioning sensor wire connector, which is located down next to the crankshaft pulley/balancer in the front of your engine. It could be or the sensor it self be responsible for no spark.

No spark=faulty crank position sensor like Charlie suggested. The most common issue when our cars won't start is that the connector corrodes. By simply unplugging it and plugging it back in, the corrosion is cleaned off and the crank position sensor can get a good signal again.

Too bad you did all that work already. You went to the end parts instead of the source, where the spark signal is "created". :)

Can't find my picture. The sensor is located directly under the a/c compressor. Lay on your back, under the passenger front side, look up at the crank pulley. You'll see the plug right there on the passenger side of the block, next to the crank pulley.

He doesn't need to replace it though, just unplug it and plug it back in. :)

Thanks to everybody, you are all right, just unplug, clean because a few oil and plug, restart very well.
Changing of all high voltage was not so bad, it seems engine run smoother, but only a simple feel...?
