Clean the connections into the amp that is located under the rear deck. My right would not work. I cleaned al connectors and reseated everything and it works great.

As these cars get older, the connectors get worse.

Same issue recently and I thought it was the amp but turned out to be a bad stereo deck (single cd deck in my case). Replaced it with a Pioneer unit and a few adapters from Scosche.

I have the same problem, So I replaced my deck with a sony. My rear right side is dead. I believe it is the amp. I took it out, and cleaned it up. I am getting power to the speakers, just dont know how much (All I have is a test light, no voltmeter;( ) Does anyone know of a replacement amp that will plug right in? I dont want to rewire the damm thing, just want the speakers to work. Anyone have an amp they are willing to part with for a small amount of money, or even free? (I'll pay shipping of course).:D

well I finaly got in the trunk and started to remove the amp but first I wiggled the conectors but no change in sound so i tried to remove the connectors but couldn't get them loose so I whopped the amp with the heel of my hand and the left side started working I put the cover back on and left it alone )I was afraid of breaking the connectors so thats why i left it alone)
