No remotes....Need FCC ID to get correct ones

Like the title says. I bought the car with only one key and no remotes. I've been looking them up online to get the real Lincoln remotes, not the generic Ford ones that can be programmed for the Lincoln. Different vendors say they need the FCC ID for my car so I get the correct remote. Not paying the dealership full retail for these remotes or for the programming of them either. Hello Youtube for instructional video!

Maybe some of the '97 owners can look at the back of their factory remotes and send me the ID number. Maybe see if there is a difference in numbers for the same model year.

Any help?

Drivers #1 memory remote- CWTWB1U311 -Same as below but with memory setting switch on back of the fob

Regular remote- CWTWB1U313

Either will work. New aftermarket remotes got for a little under $20 on ebay, used oem go for $20+. Programming takes about 30 seconds.

I really prefer to get the actual Lincoln remotes. Sounds funny, I know. I'm kinda that way. Is it necessary to get both with a switch on the back or just one with the switch and one regular one?

I found one on eBay with LHJ002. He says it's from his '97 he already sold and forgot he had it. $25. Is it a good gamble to just buy it and try to program it to my car?
