ok this is getting old got beat by another stock mark

why do i keep getting beat by stock mark VIIIs? i have 3.73's, 3200 stall, j-mod, open exhaust, CAI, MSD coils and wires, fresh plugs... some how i keep getitng beat by bone stock mark VIIIs. its ticking me off im about ready to sell my car and go buy a LS1 car. i have gotten beat by 3 stock marks jamie, another black mark and last night a white mark. why does this keep happening? its pissing me off i love me car ive had it for 4 years now but if it keeps getting beat by other stock cars its got to go.

Do you have a chip or tune to take advantage of these mods?

What is your fuel pressure like?

If your stock pump can't keep up and the engine is choking for fuel you certainly won't realize your full potential.

no tune yet and i have a "holly" 255 LPH 110psi pump in the car at adle im getting about 40-42psi. im trying to save up for either a switch chip or a twEECer set up. i like the idea of the tweecer that way i can tune it my self and when ever i want.

yes 3.73's and a track lock
what do you mean how loose is my converter?? its loose enough to stall at about 3500 rpms????

So you don't have a chip or a tune? So your shift points are all jacked up... no wonder you're not doing all that great.

my 95 with 3:55 gears, posi and j-mod manually shifting @5500 will pull my brothers 93 1-1 1/2 car lengths in a city block (he used to pull me 1/2-1 car stock) you and I both need a tune! but till then try manually shifting and do the full on j-mod. you and your trans will like it and your trans will live much longer!!

my car pulls the 1-2 shift at about 6k and the 2-3 shift at about 6200-6300. the rev limiter is at 6500. we were street racing he got me from a 74 ish roll to about 100 ish twice. the other one pulled me from a dig to about 100 when i let off. my buddy has a GTP with a tune and pully from a 75-80 roll he sticks with me to my 110 limiter. now from a 55-60 roll i walk off and leave him like its nothing from a dig its a constant pull.

when I had my 307 chip after I put 373's in the car, tiffanys' bone stock 94 would run "door handle to door handle" with my "modded car".

After getting the SCT software and "uncompressing" the shift schedule my car would beat hers by 3-4 car lengths.

the car picked up almost .4 in the 1/4 mile from JUST "fixing the shift/lock up schedule".

lol that would have been f-ed up if the next day your car was back in your drive way with a note saying sorry car has to many miles not worth anything to me lol.

the car was recovered at a crackheads house in la marque texas, so "bro and crackhead" are accurate descriptions of the individuals, "no racial slur here".

that not a bad price at all for a chip dues the $299 include all 4 programs? i see that it says they can program in a 2 step for some mustangs i wonder if that would be wired into a button on our cars? would be nice to have a 2 step with the converter to get a consestant launch.

I had him put in a rev limiter for neutral/park to scare off the imports. :D Check out my cardomain for vids. haha

FWIW....I HIGHLY recommend a chip to everyone, expecially on a STOCK mark. The way the chip changes the t/c lock-up and the shift schedules is AMAZING.
