Opinion wanted on Used front air struts

I'm considering going the used air strut route and it occurred to me, maybe I should be searching southern places for these things or would southern dry heat be just as bad as northern snow/salt exposure? Maybe Florida would be better?

What do you guys think, would struts from an Arizona Mark VIII with 75,000 miles be better than a Wisconsin Mark VIII with 75,000 miles or does it make a difference?

thanks

I would buy the AZ ones if priced the same.....but if Florida ones were also in the mix, I'd get the ones from Florida. Esp if Jamie took 'em off......

would a used condom from texas be any different than a used condom from new york?

prolly not..

and a bag from arizona is probably gonna fail in no time flat once the cold hits it..and it isn't basking in the rubber softening arizona heat.

Technically, assuming they are on a vehicle - that would be a garage queen - one that has had minimal exposure to the elements and were stored in a 'cool dry area'.

I was going to say pretty much the same thing. IF you go to www.car-parts.com for them, look for the ones that have an "A" in the condition column. I havnt bought one that wasnt ok that way.
This is exactly why I ask. Some are listed as "A", but i'm thinking a warm weather "A" is better than a cold weather "A".

That's when you turn the thing inside out. :p
