oring sizes?

what size id the orings for the solenoid? the cloosest i can find is a #18 but it appears thinner, i have the small air line ones i just need 4 for the solenoids and my air ride should be staying up.

Here are the O-Rings I ended up purchasing. Fastenal part number 1166809.

#015 9/16" ID x 11/16" OD x 1/16" diameter.

Rings from the bag I purchased have been used with success on my own car, as well as two others. Just be sure you lube 'em up.

Confirmed, I also use -015 o-rings.

BTW, Each solenoid uses 2 o-rings.

What year/model car are we talking about?

98 mark 8 prevous were all mark7's 89,90 91,92.
i have a 97 thats on a spring conversion when i bought it. i just got the 98 and i'm trying to fix the airride. i havent pulled the solenoids yet. just tring to get the orings first. but in youre picture its bove the 2 lowwer orings and seals the body of the solenoid to the bag. thanks ken

Post a pic when you receive them, I'll bet they look like what I pictured.

And they will probably come with the o-rings, anyway.

i allready sent them back. they looked just like the dozen or so used mark7 ones i had.
thats why i was looking for orings to reseal them.

Each solenoid has two -015 o-rings on it.

The only place that needs grease is on the two o-rings as shown in my second picture.

finaly found a picture with the large oring. i will try to attach it.
on a mark7 you would put dialectric grease on it and the imput oring.

There are no larger 3rd o-rings on a Mark VIII Solenoid. Pop one out of your '98 and take a look at it.

ordered and replaced orings . rear end still drops. i ordered new rear solonoids. should be here in 3 days

What makes you think it's the solenoids and not the bags?

i'm trying to do the least expensive items first. i just replaced the dryer.the bags come up but the rear takes forever and they are venting a lot of moisture. i have a lead on some good used rear bags but too poor till next payday. the front will come up and stay up for 2-3 days.
