Passenger side dash airbag.

Lost in Translation
After bouncing the car off a guardrail (see 'Members Rides for that description of no fun) earlier this year and now getting it put back together, I am curious if the dash airbag unit (mine went off) can be removed/replaced or if the entire dash has to be removed/replaced. The vehicle in question is a 97 Base MKVIII.


Thanks for the guidance and opinions guys.

Yes, you can replace just the airbag.

My old 94 was hit before I bought it, the bag was replaced. The dash above it was bent a little bit, but the airbag circuit was fine.
