Just wanted to give thanks to the Pearl Harbor vets that are with us, and a rest in peace, to those that gave it all. 50 years ago, on this day, I finished boot camp in South Carolina. Two reasons I always remember this day.
sadly, my local media didn't "remind" the sheeple about the anniversary...though we shouldn't need a reminder....the media was too busy feeding the herds stories of sexual misconduct by high power executives and their endless tirade of President Trumps latest tweets.
shame on our society thanks to the media.
Thank you to all vets, and current military for keeping the faith and a watchful eye on the skies and borders...both within and outside our corral.
That's interesting. Here in Minnesota, the anniversary was quite well covered, as usual. With added interest due to the timely discovery of the USS Ward, which took out one of their mini-subs that day. Apparently the ship was crewed largely by Minnesotans that day.
