Photobucket?

None of my images are working on the forums. I visited Photobucket's site and from what I understand, they no longer offer free 3rd party hosting. They want $300/yr

anyone else find their images locked?

Img tag copy and pasted above from photobucket. Is that what you mean? Are you doing it via mobile?

Or just old pics that stopped showing up? Are they still in your photobucket?

that is pretty much ALL I am seeing on many message boards I am using from most members. The images are still on photobucket but they cannot be shared for free anymore.
this is a bummer.
alot of angry folks out there on the forums throughout.

not mobile...just not able to share images from PB via any PC/tablet using direct IMG code HTML

I wonder if just posting the link will work, which in theory will take anyone who clicks on it TO photobucket to see the image, which in turn allows photobucket advertisers to have their ads seen. pretty savvy move on their part if this is the reason.
gonna give it a shot and see

Yeah, my image above was good from the post date up until last night. I received an email from pb yesterday afternoon letting me know what's going on. This sucks.

FWIW, I use imageevent.com, it's not free but it's far from $300 per year.

While we're on the subject, a far better deal can be had for $20 per year RIGHT HERE. Paid members can 'attach' pics direct from computer, in effect hosting them on our server. :wink2-green

can the images also be directly shared/posted on other sites if stored on LOD's server? (3rd party image hosting)

Works for me.

Right click on image and 'Copy Image Address', it should look something like this...

You have to pay for linking too but not as much as the 3rd party embedding.

I tested this on a couple forums I visit and apparently it does not universally work? A couple people posted they could not see the pic. I can't say I know how it works for some but not others.

Because you have to be logged in (to this forum) to view images. :D

The Google Drive thing seems to work for most people, but not myself. (I can't see those images, when posted by others) But it could well be my content filter here at work

JP and Mike....I dont see any of your images, and I am clearly logged in.

I have webspace at .org but it's full, and since I havent updated my account at the image hosting site, I forgot all the log-in info to expand/add images.

I have over 100 images and videos hosted there that I use often.

I can see the Google photos at home, but as you know work blocks this site and Google photos.
