When I was growing up my neighbor played the organ. Very cool! Can you play the Ringling Bros and Barnum Bailey theme song? lol.

Not todays picture but hey, I've been on the road. This is from a soccer match that I attended about three weeks ago. The son of a co-worker was playing on the blue team (He's not in the photo). They won this match and went on to be undefeated this season. This kid is one of the teams star players. I noticed there were about 3 on the team that played at a very high level. The whole team was very strong.

The photo is mine and the PS work I whipped up today.

I recycled my old pole pruner to hang a bird feeder and a neighbor was nice enough to find something to make a hook on the end of it. I had it on a shepards hook but the larger deer were able to nudge the bottom of it to get to seed to fall on the ground, The seed would be all gone over night.

I had a piece of re-bar laying around, i hammed it into the ground and then stuck the end of the prune over it.

When you want to get the feeder down just untwist the clamp and slide the pole down, and reverse to raise it. I will see how it works out and i may paint it. It is high enough to keep it away from the deer, not sure if the squirrels can climb it, if so i can get a squirrel guard. Now the bear can just shake it for the seed, so if she or her cubs come around i will have to take it down.

Very clever solution, Steve.

I don't have the bear problems you do, but I have large deer. I've had to add two extensions to mine over the years. I've used galvanized conduit, which has been holding up well, so far..

Seems like a good idea Steve hope it works out well. Surprisingly we rarely see any deer by us but we have a good amount of bear and one owned our last nice bird feeder good... :(

Replaced the blend door actuator!!

I had to replace the parts that got replaced the year before I bought the car. I bought a new complete actuator motor on amazon for $37 plus shipping. A BIG Thanks to Mad Gen II for the great write up and pics. I took my laptop and put it in the car and followed it step by step. I did all the mods and it works great.Mark

I walked into one of our classrooms today and did a double-take. I thought it was 1994 for a second. A Macintosh Performa 575. Complete with "Word Munchers." I thought we got rid of these things years ago.

This particular model was somewhat notorious, because the hard drives would "stick" when left turned off for any period of time. you had to whack the side of the machine to get it to start up. This was the standard procedure, as suggested by Apple. Many of our machines had broken plastic on the side as a result.
