Got another member for my family. It's not red like the rest of them, hope it gets along being that it's a blk on blk 98 LSC. I don't know if I'll keep it. The wife doesn't know I bought another one. All my MK's are red, she might notice a black one, that's why I have it at a neighbors house. Maybe I could tell her I painted one, but she'll start counting, and it wont add up.

Maybe not so good.....

Definitely not good.

Impeller nose cone popped off and was sucked through the impeller. Trashed it, the high speed bearing set and the main shaft.

10 more weeks and a couple grand for a couple custom machined parts, it'll be back on the road.

The car still runs and drives, just no boost.

Yea. I'm in cahoots with a supercharger rebuilder, and have to wait for the 1st impeller and mainshaft they produce.

This F1A is incredibly expensive to build. The impeller bearings alone are 330 bucks. Seals, remainder of bearings, and various parts add up quick.

The machining time alone for the 5 axis parts are very expensive for sure.

Still on a look out for a nice butchers block though. This is just to britle, evident by the crack.

Stopped by Jeremi's on the way home from work today.

Washed my car, we had a few beers, and a nice bar be que. It was the first real spring like day here in SE Michigan.:thumbsup:

Cool! lol. I wouldn't mind having a nice Snap-on tool box like that. I've got a nice Craftsman, but I'm sure the quality doesn't compare...
