Thanks Mike! The landscaping is a work in progress that Wendy has been working at for a few years now.

The owner of the fence company stopped by and decided to stay and work this project to completion. In all his years of building fences, this is only the second time he has seen this fence design being used. It apparently is very labor intensive with a ton of measuring. Needless to say, he is not what you would call pleased with the Lowes salesman for not factoring in the extra labor. BTW, Wendy found the design on Pintrest...

Finally got this grinder I have been wanting for years.

Here is how I got a couple of my heavy benches up on wheels so it is easier to get the place cleaned down.

12 hours in today and still at it... The front has two rails - 4' high. It is going to be shadow boxed like the three rail fence off the deck. Looking awesome :thumbsup:

lol Steve My house is a corner lot situated on higher ground on both sides so everything seems to end up in my neighbors yard anyway.

The crew left around 10pm last night. They still need to wrap up a couple things like build/install the gate door, some post caps, and clean up. I'm about to go out and snap a couple more photo's and will post them.

lol Bud The fence company suggested to stain it in the fall after the wood has dried out some.


All Done! The crew just left. Wendy and I are happy with the results :thumbsup:

the fence looks good, you can use the color stains, it will give color and protection but you will still have the wood grain. it is very denotational they would have to spray it.
