Do you drain your down spouts at least 10' away from the house? Also have to pack dirt clay so any run off goes away from the foundation all around the property. The house by me in the low lands all were built with french drains and sump pumps due to the low water table. New construction is on slabs and they finish the attics with bonus rooms to get that extra space.
Where the red dots are, are where my down spouts are. Problem is I don't have 10 feet of clearance around the house so I try to extend them as far as I can. when we redid the yard last year I regraded the back to slop slightly away from the house.

The problem was mostly crappy/no gutters around the house, but that's all fixed and it seems to be flowing well. The problem this time was a leaky outdoor valve that was 3 feet from this window, water would saturate in the ground and bubble up from underneath, filling the window well.

Before we moved in there was no gutter here so this window has flooded multiple time before and after we got the house. I know because I found mold and had to tare the wall down this weekend along with installing a glass block window....

Is there enough slope to trench some pipe for the down spouts, preferable have them dump in the street gutter? I have the perforated pipe buried but my property slopes.

The front/side ones I could. In the back I was thinking about getting a rain barrel but I'm hesitant on how fast it would fill up in a rain storm

New injectors for my CE!

A good friend gave me some newer injectors out of his 2006 mustang GT with about 4500 miles. He put a blower on it. I had some trouble with a slightly rough idle, not all the time though. I cleaned the iab valve out and the Maf, a little better. So I put these injectors in, with adapters. Whala! its fixed. these newer injectors are the multi stream I understand. I am a long time drag racer. I am amazed at the Huge improvement in idle, and drivability. The initial part throttle is extremely quick. over all power is very much improved. I highly recommend the newer style injectors. These were 24lb , so their was nothing to retune.IMG_20140811_102703062.jpgIMG_20140811_164917282.jpgIMG_20140811_171430331.jpgIMG_20140811_171441127_HDR.jpg

Couldn't pass it up for the price. It's gonna be fun to take it out on the town.
