Saw Trentemoller locally last night. One of the best live shows I've seen in quite some time. For an electronic musician, the amount of live instrumentation is impressive. He does nearly all of his synth work on the fly, too, which is increasingly rare

incredible show..

pictorial review of my weekend.

started out with my bro's mustang making weird engine noises. likely timing chains.
so i dragged my focus svt up to him.

and brought the mustang home.

but the fun didn't stop there, next day we grabbed my friend's blown up procharged '12 3.7 vert and new motor, and carted it up to a shop for him.

but wait, there's more! buddy's girlfriend's car needed some trans work. threw it on the trailer next.

had a very angry looking gear come out. swapped it and a few other bits, put it back together.

test it out with some hooliganism and some runs against my FSVT. ran well despite speccing less hp. maybe the intake and exhaust helped.

and finally. the arrival of a new puppy. Onix is German Shepherd, Blue Heeler mix. he is adorable.

Mosin–Nagant?

Not a gun guy, but growing up in the mountains of Colorado I have my fair share of weapons for hunting, plinking, and such. I no longer have them at my house, my parents like in the middle of nowhere, so if I want to shoot them I would go there anyways. Just last weekend showed my 14 year old son and my daughters boyfriend (not to scare him, really) my little .22 single shot lever action, 20 gauge shotgun (now cut off), and a .22 semi auto. For bigger things I had my moms .243 bolt action or my dads semi auto .30-06.

He just bought one of those brass .357 bolt action rifles, to go with his .357 pistol and a few other guns.

I only have a 1955 .22/.25 Ruger Super Single. I have it in pieces and the different pieces locked up so my wife doesn't freak out. It isn't for home defense, just passed on to my by my grandfather, who had a big collection (not a collector, just a bunch of guns used for everyday shooting and hunting and home defense).

Yup, more specifically the M39.

If I ever have a daughter you better bet that I'm gonna use this to scare her boyfriend, It's a pretty decent rifle but needs some cleaning. I'm not really a collector either but I thought it would be nice for some target practice and defense if ever needed, ammo for this thing can be hard to find in this area though.

Other than this we have a SW5906 and my brother has an AK and a generic 12g

I had to take this photo today, the first time I took the green Mark VIII out since winter came. I haven't had a chance to wash it yet.

It had to visit another green Mark VIII.:D
