Michigan Cooper's Hawk

I took this pic today, this guy moved in to a pine tree at my driveway's edge last year and all the bird families that were there moved out! He flies real fast, swoops down, and he's got a decent food supply around with squirrels, mice, smaller birds.

This Cooper's Hawk perched up on a tall tree behind the neighbors' across the street, I estimate 60-70 meters away. I snapped the pic with my Canon digital SLR with the longer lens zoomed in all the way, then cropped in Photoshop 7.

It is rare to see a new bridge being built that is lower than the original. Is it temporary? or some sort of pedestrian bridge?

Barry, I wish I'd had time to PM you for a possible meet and greet but unfortunately my trips are rather spontaneous and the pace is usually fast 'n furious. We flew into Redding on Monday and I was gone by Tuesday afternoon.
