I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out the plane myself. I even scoured Wikipedia

None of those look right to me though. Low wings.. Horizontal stabilizer that mounts below and to the rear of the tail. and has that gentle slop up to the tail on the back.
I kind of assumed it would be the "Allies," but still came up empty.
The closest I can come up with is the Douglas XTB2D "Skypirate," predecessor to the A-1. I'm not entirely convinced though.
