Push Button for the Heads Up Display Not Working

Please let me know why and what I can do about the push buttons not working properly. The reset button does not work at all. One example is the oil change reset button, setting the clock and date, compass. The check status button to the right and left of the push button parts seem to be working and odometer, distance to empty button seem to work... What are my options to fix these problems. I thought about unplugging it (just for now) so I do ot have to look at the change oil head up display, but that is not the root cause and not sure if this will effect anything?

Thanks in advance for your help

It's most likely the buttons themselfs. Best bet would probly find a decent set and swap them in. Could also be a connector or wiring issue.

I have one in graphite that I pulled from my car. These things go for $40 on fleabay, but they're not worth that IMO. You can easily get them at a local u-pull salvage yard. It was working when pulled, but the finish on a few of the buttons started to peel. I'll post a picture of it tonight if I can find the box.

reset button is the one that is pressed the most and also is the one that is pressed in anger or angst the most, as it removes the "check air ride" message, and that peskly low washer fluid warning.

I've seen people hit that button pretty hard sometimes..haha.

as mentioned, just replace it.
is super easy to remove.

Make sure you save all the screws.
