I may be able to be rebuilt, but I doubt if it would be cost effective.

you may take it to an elecric motor company, someone that rebuilts alternators and starters, id check there first to see if they can salvage it, but dont be disappointed if they piss themselves laughing

ok, one guy I called needed to see it first but his shop wasn't convenient and he couldn't give me a range

so we took it apart today and fixed it, yes it actually worked then I wanted to clean it up a bit and succeeded in breaking the stupid little things that go around the top of the magnet thing that are delicate and now its back to not working, doh!

I have no fear trying to fix something that's already broke.
