Anyone ever have dealings with their products?

I do know they are one in the same. I only found one review....

I am considering getting the Focus SVT pump from them. They have them so you can get just the pump instead of the whole basket.

Thanks in advance for the intel.

Thanks for the link. I think I stumbled across it while searching, I just added it to my favorites, again. This tiime i will be able to find it!
In my search for the Focus pump I ran across the two names in the title. Unrelated/related i have a Polaris Ranger and on one of the forums i frequent the two ompanies in question are pretty popular for polairs ranger fuel pumps. So i am little inclined to give them a try. However the last thing i really want is the motor to go lean because the pump i got suxs when they go to tune it on the dyno.

I tried to post a link but i am too new...

Just a couple more posts, and you won't have any trouble. It's an anti-spam tactic, and although it's a pain to many, it is quite effective. Alternatively, if it lets you edit your post with the "text" of the link, I'll be happy to fix it for you.

I've had a couple friends with Polaris Rangers, and they really seem to like them. My problem, is that whenever I hear "Ranger," I think "Ford." :D

Is this N/A or supercharged car ? I'd suggest skipping the Focus pump altogether (it is a 10 year old technology afterall) as it tops out around 400rwhp (without BAP and/or fuel line upgrades), and going to Aeromotive 340 or AEM 320 pumps.

You sir successfully made me re-think. LOL At this point I'm going to be looking at putting mine on corn. Single 465lph and 80# injectors. Perhaps this is why my fuel begins to pull at the upper rpms. Particularly in colder weather. I'm fairly certain that this car in its original state as I had bought it was probably ok but I am no Thomas. No offense to him at all. A super cool guy but this was set up as a tasteful weekend cruiser. Hell, it took me to figure out that the worn out tensioner couldn't hold the belt on. He drove it nice. I drive it nice....less.

It is getting a Novi 1500, 8 lb max for now. Street only "weekend beater" with maybe a trip down the strip one night a year. Hoping to aftercooler it. Stock intake. I am thinking egr and imrc deletes. 4.10s and a posi sitting in the garage. Hoping to get a higher stall and full exhaust by spring. I need 39lb injectors, been debating new or used all weekend.
It is a 98 so it has the dumb pulse width modulated pump. I found a place that sells the Focus pump as a stand alone unit, its a Carter. I called Aeromotive and they are aware of the system we have in our cars and said they do not have anything nor the bastard 98 cobras. They do have options but nothing that is "drop in" so to speak. I didn't want to do the whole relay and wiring thing if I didn't have to. But like you said do it and get it over with.

I have a couple of other to do's yet. Cooling head mod and figure out the coolant crossover tube. I have a thread I started on LVC about all that. I am trying to keep all my posts on one site but finding that doesn't seem to work hahahaha.

I would love to e85 it but don't want to get stuck in the event of a road trip and I don't have it close by...

Thanks again for you guys taking interest.

I'll add just a couple things. I'm no pro but I retain info I am given. Well....mostly. LOL 39# injectors are not big enough in my opinion. You want at least 42s at 8psi. Also, regarding the E85. You can run a multi-bank chip that you can switch from a pump gas tune to E85 tune with the flick of a dial. The car will just need to be tuned on both fuels. With "8lbs max", you should be able to easily handle the IATs with a methanol injection kit. Centrifugal blowers are very efficient.

I guess it is going to make more power than I thought. I was thinking 425 flywheel. That came out to 34# injectors, rounding up to 39s. The 03 blown cobras had 39s so I thught that it kinda confirmed my calculations. Good to be wrong sometimes :)

I'm not saying that you are wrong and that 39# injectors wouldn't work. I just think the idea here is that if you use 42# injectors instead, you will be further away from the max duty cycle of the injector thus being more efficient. That's how I understand it anyways. Same going for fuel pumps. Having a little bit of head room is always good.

The Novi is quite similar to my Vortech. At 8psi you are looking at closer to 475hp at the crank. My car made 392rwhp on log manifolds and now I have longtube headers and an x-pipe.

I like to hear that! What did you do for a fuel pump on your 97? From what I read our fuel systems are the same design(97-98). I would be happy with 400ish at the motor for starting out. I dont know if i am going to get to the exhaust before spring. I dont want to start tearing it apart till I have most everything in hand. After hearing soe of the feedback I am going to drag my feet on pump and injectors for a little bit. I have the charger and gears and carrier sitting on the bench. The monting kit and oil lines are shipping this week finally from suerchargers online, i ordered them almost 2 weeks ago. I am thinking of doing the pump first just to make sure it turns out ok before I start tearing into everything else. With all the changes happening at one time I want to at least verifiy some things are working right before I make a big mess. While it is great to make a bunch of upgrades out of the gate it also creates a lot more variables if things dont line up.
I think I am going to hold off on the convertor upgrade till I have it tuned and get a sense of how it drives with the 410s. The tuner said that once they get the base tune in it that as I make changes it is not a big deal (dyno time $) to refine/tweak. He is telling me $600 for software licence and tune.

Either 39 (which have been tested to flow a hair over 40 countless times) or 42 injectors will be sufficient for your current goals. The green giants are awesome, and are plug and play without the adapters.

You want the offset inlet due to space constraints inside the bucket. The pump height plays a big role as well.

Aeromotive 11142 fits well, and offers the same offset as stock. You want the tall basket manifold for it to work correctly. Like the one pictured on the left :

Upon further review ..... Aeromotive won. I have a 11142 coming, genuin not a $50 knock-off. Where would one find the top hat that you suggest?

I got a pretty good deal on the FRPP 47 injectors. I talked to my tune guy and he said those are great injectors and he get them dialed in. He said it is always nice to go a little bigger than needed(injector calculator).Yes, it is going to a little bit of work but they will be worth the effort as I make progress with other add-ons. He was glad I didnt buy 60's or 80's. He said 60's would work too but I would not be happy (he neither)with the lower RPM performance.

Dumb question of the day, just dawned on me. Can I use my stock FPR with the new pump? First thought is yes.

Cant wait to get digging into this beast. couple more weeks....
