I have a few stock air boxes in my garage. I will send you one free of charge if you want to do a test and tune with the airbox vs. conical setup, i'm very interested to see what happens back to back runs.

cold air entering the maf=colder IATI haven't seen proof that cold air intakes provide colder IAT temps on a Mark VIII.
I never said that you said that I needed a C&L.I never said you need a C&L,.
If you have a slightly colder IAT then in some PCM calibrations there are scalars that allow more timing to be added for colder IATs.I haven't seen proof that slightly colder IAT readings will make a difference in the 1/4 mile.
