I dont have a mark anymore but heres a race i just got into. I was travling down the highway when bam a car flys by me than slows down under the speed limit and he keeps slowing down i go to pass then he floors it.I do the same and i passed him and kept going tell i reach about 115 or so than i slowed down. I beat him by about 10 or so carlangths. IT WAS a dodge intrepid R/T. How fast or how slow are those? and i was driving a 2001 lincoln continental with superchip [miro tunner], turbos out the back,and k&n. thanks

NICE REPLY fellas! I know a guy here in Tucson that has an R/T on steroids. All wheel drive with reworked mill, 2 T-5 hybrid turbos or something along that line (aftermarket) and a ton of other stuff hiding in the stock body. But he turns low 11's on a street legal smog car. I still want a ride!

You must be refering to a Stealth R/T. They are factory equipped twin-turbo's, AWD, and basically, its a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4... the Intredpid is the 4-door, cab foreward ice-breaker(Like the old eagle Vision/Conquest body). the Intrepid is in a class like the Conti.. V6, FWD, 4 door. The Stealth R/T is in the "ricer" class.

Yeah, I failed to mention that. It is in fact. I knew it just misread the original post. Never seen an Intrepid R/T. Is that a new design like the Neon SRT turbo?

Not new like the SRT-4, just a different version of the "rent-a-car" Intrepid. I do however like the look of the Stratus R/T. It has a killer roof line, and make killer pro-stockers. the Intrepid, I think, is the "car" that Dodge runs in Nascar in a non "stock car" 2 door model, like the Taurus was allowed to do.

Intrepid R/T's are not that cool in stock form and I doubt they're embraced by the aftermarket sector. Here's what I found out about em.
Engine: 3.5L high output Magnum V6
Peak Horsepower: 242 hp@6400rpm
Peak Torque: 248 ft-lb@3950rpm
Redline: 6500rpm

Nothing spectacular. I'm assuming those numbers are not at the wheels. It's no surprise you'll pulled 10 car lengths Keep the kills coming!
