I've never used the cube, but I own that harbor freight kit. it's great. A++, would buy again, etc.

In a pinch, I have actually used a pair of long-nose pliers - opened most of the way, you can put the point of each "tip" into the two depressions of the piston, and twist the handles. You'll slip out frequently, and it will be a bit frustrating, but it'll get the job done.

You can try pulling open the rubber boot and spraying some lube in the caliper. It will probably unseize the piston.

Make sure to check and lube the slide pins on the bracket. I just had one on my 97 recently that was junk, lucky I had a spare bracket handy.

I'd get a good caliper compressor, I bought one of the high end ones and it gets allot of use.

Since you're swapping out the caliper it's a great time to flush the brake fluid and well, it's always something that get neglected.

Caliper came early so we threw it on and bled the brakes on the wheel. Wont stop all too good so onto the next wheels

So what was kinda weird is that the cube wouldnt even fit in the original caliper, the indentations were spaced wayy too far out. The new one fit perfectly into it. Which is strange.

When i bled the brakes i ran out of new fluid but i still got a good amount of the nasty stuff out
