Running sluggish only in hot weather

Ok I just got done eliminating the air box and and doing a cold air set up and I did a shift kit and I put a tranny cooler on it eliminating the radiator as one of the coolers for the tranny the tranny is doing very good now but when it's hot outside the car is very sluggish on take off and if you have the air on it will die at red lights some times but it's not throwing any check engine lights any body got any ideas ???

Is it a cold air intake, or is it a hot air intake getting air from under the hood? Where is the IAT, and what are the temps it see (96 or newer?)?

It's a 94 and I run the filter down where the air ride compressor use to be and outside temp in the 95 range and engine temp with air off never goes over half now that I took the tranny cooler out of the radiator but with the air on I have seen it up to the bottom of the "R" on the temp gage
