that looks like a goliath grouper, if it was, it hopefully was released!!!
its illegal to keep goliath groupers in our waters around florida, you can keep any other specie of grouper, but goliaths are endangered, and the record goliath grouper pulled just a few miles off shore in the gulf weighed 900 lbs.
they can get massive. thats a biggun you got there, who cares if you did keep it lol, i just happend to see this on the news the other day , because of a kid who caught a goliath grouper in port charlotte, they released it after finding out what it was, it was 190 lbs!!

I have a friend who keeps a salt water fish tank who lives in Bradenton.
He was scuba diving a sunk drug boat looking for fish for his tank when one of these little fishies came up behind him and gave him the scare of his life.
