I'm about to get a shifter for my car I like the b&m z gate I just don't like that you have to pull the t handle all the time but I want one that is like the tci outlaw pro grip shifter and I need it to have a button for overdrive any ideas or anybody know of one I'm trying to stay around 250 dollars don't really want to go with 500 lol

Interesting. I don't know of anyone who has tried to swap out their factory shifter, except for a manual transmission swap..
I suppose if you really like that, the "OD" switch could really just be mounted anywhere.. It doesn't /have/ to be on the shifter.
I think most of us just sought out one of the CE shifter handles, and called it a day. They feel great in the hand.

Currently I have my overdrive switch wired into my traction control switch. So when I shut one off both go off. This is changing soon.
Like JP says though a computer will shift faster than you ever can and with the help of a shift kit like the BE Controls one, it will shift hard as you want. Plus it's half the price of those ugly T handles.
