Is the body solid? Do you know why it does not run? What are your plans for it?

If the body is solid it could be a good project car. :)

carfreak: the car you posted sure does look like a project. From those photos, the body looks basically good, aside from the dented passenger door. I do see lots of trim missing. Chrome and rubber. and of course that roof is trashed.

Have you gotten to see the interior? or the frame? If they are in good shape, and the engine can be made to run, at least by Minnesota standards, it might pass. Although I sure don't have the connections to do the kind of work it requires, you might.

Otherwise, that car Leo posted, if it is still for sale, is a beauty. I saw it in person a few years back, and I know it needs a good home.

Yes Steve, it's here in Oyster Bay. Can be seen at any time, just let me know and I'll set it up. It's a great car, it was professionally appraised and it's priced well below the value. I think the original wheels come with it too.

ok, now he just has to like green, lol, i know he was leaning towards white.
I know it made it out to carlisle, so i assume it still runs great.

It runs better than it ever did, we went over the car after Jimmy died in preparation for the appraisal. I'd drive that car anywhere.

Sent my buddy the photos, told him it was clean. He said he has been looking at other cars and they have more options for less money, like sun roof, plush interior, etc. He said with the color and lack of options he would only pay $4k for it.

Sorry, they said too low but if anyone is interested I'm sure they could be brought to the table with an offer of $5500.

They just need to wait for the the right buyer for that Lincoln, the car is in great shape.

My friend said he has been looking at convertibles now or ones with sun roofs, he really leaning towards Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, that Mark is really not what he wanted, hence the low offer.
