Shutter Color

Ok everyone I have put a new roof and siding on my home and have come down to shutter color and can't make up my mind . Should I go brick red or brown?

The bottom is the brick red.

I'd vote "brick red"

However, I'd like to argue the fact that in the event of a storm, those "shutters" would provide woefully inadequate coverage of the windows.

Both close. Match the roof color, and bring it all together.

That light color makes the house look washed out. Make it pop with the darker color and paint the garage door the same color 'red'.
