ATM it's just too many trips for me this year, although it was a great time when we did go that year. It was a fun trip too, visiting places along the way. So it's likely that we'd have to skip that one this year (again, boo hoo), but never say never, things can change, although this year it's been all about the red car, not the cool black one with blue racing stripes. ;)

I am really surprised, and happy there is a shootout this year. It did not look good just a couple weeks ago that there would even be a SSHS12. I hope to see a lot of Mark VIII, and shootout supporters there to keep this annual event alive! :)

Exciting for you maybe. I'll own you (maybe) on the first 330' but after that it's over. :D

I went to make hotel reservations but what is the choice for hotel accommodations this year? The Hampton? :rolleyes:

I live and die at the tree. If I'm in the groove I can pull 0.0xx RTs consistently. Then out of nowhere I will fall on the sword with a sleepy light - or worse, red light. :eek:

I don't recall when exactly we ran against each other at the shootout (heads up in one of the morning test runs?) but I distinctly remember pulling on you until about the middle of second gear. :cool:

After that, all I saw was an ivory blur and Gen2 tail lights. LOL :D

Loaded up and pulling out tonite. :)

We will get through the mountains and stop in Wytheville, VA tonite and be in Commerce tomorrow afternoon. ;)
