My first system in the mark was 3 12" type r's followed by w6v2's, back to 2 type R's, then 2 JL 18w6's, and most recently 2 powerbass L series 15's as a budget set that busted my rearview and took a chunk of my windshield glass with it. I'm once again back to my type r's (ol' reliables) with the gain set 1/4 and sub levels flattened. I don't want to buy another windshield.
Amprack is covered in gray trunk carpet and is bolted to the rear seat x brace. It's prob 28x16".
This is how the trunk was setup when I had the rear deck "blowthrough"(30x12" hole in sheet metal and back panel). I had the 15's setup like this aswell. I have since removed the modded rear deck and put the oem rear deck in, so all thats left is the hole in the sheet metal that i'm sure helps a little. I no longer use the beauty panel either but will make sure I wash it if I decide too again...yuck :eek-large: Something def exploded on the left side of my trunk at one point.
And the 18's I ran for like 3 days. No in car pics.

The '96 has two 10" Audiobahn's in a sealed enclosure and hits hard. It needs some dynomat in the trunk as it rattles the trunk lid something fierce. I need to get some before I put the new rear carpet in the trunk.
The '93 has a single 12" but after 2 enclosures, I still haven't found a suitable match to get really good tight bass from it.

I have the same CVRs as you in my Lexus, but I have 10s with a Kenwood 1000 watt amp. Had them in the Mark VIII before buying my ES350.
