I agree with you, the 05 will be one great looking car but that is not here and now. The 03 looks great to me too, especially from behind the wheel. There is no way I could wait, one test drive is all it took, I caught the bug on that day and it infected me with a fever. This in spite of the fact that I had to compress my legs to fit them in the car which was uncomfortable to say the least. I recently added 4 inches of legroom which is well beyond what I needed; now the car is perfect for me.

I just returned today from an 800 mile round trip to AZ, the only fatigue I experienced was from too much adrenaline coursing through my veins. It was a comfy ride all the way.

What finally cinched it for me was when it became apparent that two people at Kenne Bell lied to me about CARB certification for the '98 Mark VIII. Once it was clear there was no way to legally supercharge my Mark VIII in California, I went and chiseled myself a good deal on the Cobra.

You are correct the average dyno results of the stock Cobra are approximately 365 RWHP which translates to about 420 HP at the flywheel. With cold air induction and catted X-pipe/cat-back exhaust ($900 these mods) approx. 400 RWHP (460@flywheel) is available. Add a pulley, chip, oval 1600 CFM throttle body and 500 RWHP is right there. And it doesn't stop there.
