Hi my name is OB and I live in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get work done on a 1998 lincoln Mark VIII.
Money isn't my first concern, but someone who knows what to do. I have no Idea what I need or dont need to make a fun car .I just bought a flawless one owner car and want to make it a little funner to drive. Nothing too radical. I've been reading that with a 98 lincoln you need upper and lower cobra intake to start ,but i really dont know what I do or dont need.Ready to start the build, just need someone who will steer me in the direction of someone who knows what to do .Supercharging seems to be the direction I need to go. Thanks for any help you can give.

Welcome! :)

I know a couple Lincoln owners in the DFW area.

I'll send you a PM with a contact.

You may want to go the easy route...

Supercharging a stock engine is doable but the bottom end of the engine is not built to handle boost. At least not for an extended periods of "heavy foot". If money is not too much of a constraint look into finding a cobra or Mach 1 engine. The forged internals will better handle supercharging. If you just want it to be more fun then do a 5 or 6 speed conversion. Then do the normal mods like gears, exhaust, cobra intake. Trust me, the car will be plenty fun at that point. superchaging will just send it over the top. ........or just go for broke and do the coyote.

Looks nice. strange mix. Has the LSC grill and headlight eyebrows, but has base side molding. How is the interior? Is it an LSC or a Base?

painted the grill and eyebrows and all back chrome. Next opened the taillight panel and installed two led light strips instead of neon

It's not an automated electronic system. You have to wait until a carbon life form has access to the internet, receives the email from PayPal and takes the appropriate steps to change your user group status. :p

I was wondering what you were saying about buffing, but I realized the pictures look like the car has dull spots. Those are just some wierd shadows or something the paint is perfect without a scratch or blemish. I bought it from a 74 year old woman who bought it new and stopped driving last year. It has 69 k on it. The only thing I have done so far is the 18 inch wheels and tires and painting out the base chrome and front cover since I had to remove it to get the grille off. It had a few rock chips so I had my shop paint it while the de chromed the lights.
