Tach signals

I am looking to adapt the 1993 1st gen tachometer to a EEC V computer. Originally, the 1993 tach is driven by the EDIS module, which I am obviously not using anymore. Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket tach and what adapters/tach drivers were needed to drive it ? I am thinking of using such adapter to grab signal from one of the COPs and feed it to the stock 93 cluster.

Well, I was able to wire in the EDIS as a tach driver only with minimal connections, while all ignition functions are controlled by the 98 EEC-V. No aftermarket adapter needed
