"The LSC trip 2012" - how about Mark VIII meetup near Grand Canyon (Oct 14)?

Hi!

We are coming to US for our honeymoon trip on October 8 and we will be traveling our "new" Mark VIII LSC from San Antonio to Las Vegas. I thought that maybe we could meet other Mark VIII fans during our trip.

What do you think of Mark VIII owners meetup somewhere near Grand Canyon on Oct 14?

Other side of the country for me as well, but good luck with you trip an i hope some people can meet you. The Grand Canyon is on my list of places to visit. I only saw it from the air when going to Las Vegas.

Yup, it's waiting in my friend's garage now with all the fluids changed, new front brakes, new tires and new battery. I'll drive it back to Houston, TX (late October) and load it to the containter going to Bremerhaven, Germany. It should be here in mid to late November.

Here are some pics of my new ride. Only 75K miles.

As for your meetup proposal, If I weren't hosting a Mark VIII meet at my home in Minnesota the same weekend, I would be all over that trip. I love the Rocky Mountains, and the Grand Canyon.. Alternatively, you would be absolutely welcome here, but it is a long drive. 1,600 Miles. 26 hours. (from North St Paul MN to the Grand Canyon..)

As a reward for your journey, I could pack your trunk with Town Car parts. I'm mighty close to letting mine go. :D

But what about the meetup? Maybe Las Vegas will be better? Or somewhere in Texas or New Mexico?

Wow, congrats on the marriage and the new car!

I'd love to see the Grand Canyon (and you and your wife), but we're committed to going to MN to Tixer's that weekend.

I hope you get some people to meet up with you. There are a LOT of Mark owners in the Texas area, hopefully at least they could meet up with you?

You should do your second honeymoon in June at Carlisle.:D
